Islam Makhachev Prepares for UFC 302 Showdown Amidst Conor McGregor's Provocations

Conor McGregor recently stirred the MMA world with a bold claim about Islam Makhachev. Posting on his ‘X’ profile, the Irishman suggested that the lightweight champion (up to 70.3 kg) might be dealing with an infection, referencing a recent image of the Russian fighter. McGregor compared the situation to Paulo Borrachinha’s withdrawal from his match against Khamzat Chimaev at the end of 2023.

"These are staph bacteria again. This guy constantly deals with it. His entire team is infected. (…) Take a bath, wash your clothes," McGregor wrote.
