Subject: Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2025 - Result for shortlisting of candidates to appear in Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/Document Verification.
Result of Computer Based Examination of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2025 was declared by the Commission on 17.06.2025 wherein 3,94,121 candidates (Female-40213 and Male-353908) were shortlisted for appearing in Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) for recruitment in the following Forces/ Organizations:

2. The PET/ PST of 3,94,121 shortlisted candidates was conducted by the CAPFs from 20.08.2025 to 15.09.2025. The summary of result of PET/ PST of 3,94,121 candidates (Female-40213 and Male-353908) is as follows:

3. The candidates qualified in PET/ PST have been considered for shortlisting to appear in Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/Document Verification (DV). The category-wise break-up of the candidates provisionally shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Computer Based Examination (plus provisional NCC bonus marks, if applicable) for appearing in the DME/DV along with the Marks and Date of Birth of the last shortlisted candidates are as follows:

3.4 Category-wise cut-off details and number of male candidates shortlisted for DME/DV against the vacancies of General District Area (G), Border District Area (B) and Naxal/ Militancy Affected District Area(N) against State/ UT-wise vacancies of Forces other than NCB and SSF are as given in Annexure-II.
4. As per the option exercised by the candidates in the Online Application Form, candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories, on migration from one State/ UT to another State/ UT have been considered in their respective reserved category if they have opted to take benefit of reservation from the State/ UT of their origin. Otherwise, as per their option, they have been considered as UR candidate from the State/ UT of their domicile as per the provisions of the Notice of Examination (Para-6.2). The category of 426 such candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories who have migrated from one State/ UT to another State/ UT and have opted to be treated as UR candidate from the state of their domicile has been changed to UR. Out of these 426 candidates, 77 have qualified for Detailed Medical Examination/ Document Verification. These 77 candidates have been included in List I or List II, as the case may be.
5. Out of the 45 temporary unfit female candidates, marks of following 31 candidates are more than cut-off marks in their respective State, Area and Category. Detailed Medical Examination/ Document Verification of these candidates may be conducted subject to their qualifying in PET/ PST.
6. The result of the following two candidates is provisional and subject to their qualifying in PET/PST:

7. The result of 20 female candidates (**List-III**) and 260 male candidates (**List-IV**) have been kept withheld due to suspected malpractices. The result of the withheld candidates will be subject to further scrutiny of their candidature.
8. The candidates shortlisted against the All India vacancies will also be considered against the State/UT vacancies of General/ Border/ Naxal District Areas depending on the domicile State/ District information provided by the candidates in the Online Application Form and verification of the same during Document Verification. Similar procedure will be adopted for the candidates shortlisted against the State/UT vacancies of General/ Border/Naxal District areas.
9. Reserved category candidates qualified at UR standard have been considered against UR vacancies. In the final result, if such candidates are not selected at UR standards, then these candidates may be allocated against their respective categories. Similarly, candidates of Border/ Naxal District Areas qualified at General/ Border District Areas cut-off have been considered against the vacancies of General/ Border District Area. In the final result, if such candidates are not selected in the General/ Border District Areas' standards, they may be allocated against the vacancies of Border/ Naxal District areas.
In the event of tie in normalised marks of candidates in the Computer Based Examination (including NCC bonus marks), such cases have been resolved by applying the following criteria, one after another in the given order, till the tie is resolved:
- a) Marks in Part-A of Computer Based Examination.
- b) Marks in Part-B of Computer Based Examination.
- c) Date of Birth, with older candidates placed higher.
- d) Alphabetical order of names.
11. The result of the candidates shortlisted for DME/DV is purely provisional and subject to the candidates fulfilling all the eligibility conditions prescribed for the respective posts in the Notice of the Examination.
12. As per **Para 12.5.6** of the Notice of the Examination, conduct of PST/ PET and DME/ RME will be the sole responsibility of the CAPFs. Therefore, the Commission will not entertain any representation/ appeal/ RTI Applications/ CPGRAMS against the decision of the PST/ PET and DME/ RME Board.
13. Venue and schedule of DME/ DV will be informed by the Nodal CAPF i.e. CRPF. Call letters to the candidates, who have been qualified for the DME/DV, will be uploaded by the Nodal CAPF on their website i.e. http://crpf.gov.in.
14. The following lists are now available on the website of the Commission:
- List-I: 9179 Female candidates provisionally shortlisted for appearing in DME/ DV.
- List-II: 86085 Male candidates provisionally shortlisted for appearing in DME/ DV.
- List-III: 20 Female Withheld candidates.
- List-IV: 260 Male Withheld candidates.
- List-V: 68 Debarred candidates.
