 Tarpaulin Assistance Scheme

 Tarpaulin plays a vital role in protecting crops from rain or other climatic conditions.  But these tarpaulins are available in the market at very high prices so many poor economically disadvantaged farmers cannot afford them so the crops of the farmers are often washed away in the rains.

 Keeping all these issues in mind, the Government of Gujarat has implemented a tarpaulin assistance scheme on I Khedut Portal for financial assistance to the farmers of the state.

 In order to help small, marginalized and economically weaker farmers, the state government is implementing the tarpaulin assistance scheme by the "Department of Agriculture" on 31/06/207 to protect farm produce.  Under this scheme, farmers will be entitled to a maximum of two nods per account.

 Eligibility of tarpaulin assistance scheme

 The following eligibility for Tadpatri Sahay Yojana has been decided by the State Department of Agriculture.

 Beneficiary farmer should be a native of Gujarat state.

 The applicant farmer should be small, marginal and have poor economic condition

 The applicant should own the land

 The benefit of this scheme is eligible to be met three times

 Farmers will be able to apply online from the I Khedut Portal at home to avail the Tadpatri Assistance Scheme.

 To apply online, go to Google and type I Khedut Portal.

 Then on the screen you will see I Khedut Portal Official Website click on it.
