 Friends, if there is any mistake in the date of birth in your Aadhar card and you want to change it, then you can do this work online through the website of UIDAI.  UIDAI allows you to update certain errors in your Aadhar card online.  Your mobile number must be linked with Aadhaar to update Aadhar card.

 If there is any mistake in the date of birth even on your Aadhaar, such as the wrong date being printed or only the year is written, then you can correct this type of mistake by using the scanned copy of the valid documents by UIDAI.  Your Date of Birth (DOB) will be updated sometime after the valid documents are uploaded and its information will also be sent to you in the form of a message.

 To update the date of birth online, you will also have to pay a charge of Rs 50, you will have to deposit this fee through online mode only.  If you do not have the mobile number linked in Aadhaar, then do not attempt to update Aadhaar online because without OTP sent to your registered mobile number, without this you will not be able to log in to the site.

 First of all, you open the official website of Aadhaar https://uidai.gov.in in your mobile or computer browser.

 On the home page, click on "Update Demographic Data Online"

 On the next page, click on the option "Proceed to Update Aadhaar"

 In the next step, you have to log in by entering your Aadhar number and OTP received on the registered mobile number.

 First of all, type your 12 digit Aadhaar number in the given box and click on Send OTP by entering the captcha code given below it.

 Now a 6 digit OTP password will come on the mobile number registered in your Aadhaar, enter it on the screen and click on login.

 Now in the next step click on "Update Demographics Data" option

 Now in Select any of the following Aadhaar data fields to update, select the option of "Date of Birth" and click on proceed option

 On the next screen, type your correct Date of Birth in "Enter the Details" and then upload the scanned copy of the valid document.

 Now you can see the document uploaded by you in the preview by typing the captcha code below it and clicking on 'Send OTP'.

 Enter the password received on the registered mobile number on the screen and click on the option of "Make payment"

 Now you have to pay Rs 50 through online net banking, debit card or UPI.  You will get a URN number after the payment is done.

 In this way, you can change and update the date of birth in your Aadhar card online.  With the help of URN number, you can check your request status.  You can also get your date of birth corrected offline by visiting your nearest Aadhaar center.
